Pagehand can automatically save a backup of your documents while you work. The backup runs at a regular interval. If autosave is on, and a document is not closed properly (because of a crash, power failure, etc.), Pagehand lets you restore the contents of the backup.

To enable or disable autosave:

• In Preferences, select the General tab and enter a value in the text field labeled Autosave every. A value of 0 turns autosave off.

Backups are saved in the Pagehand folder of your Library/Application Support folder.
